Welcome to episode 10 of The Recluse’s Cookbook.
My guest this time around is Michael Finkel, a journalist and author based in Park city, Utah. Michael has had quite a career over the past three decades. He had done it all or so he thought until on the same day he got fired from the New York Times he also found out a psychopathic murderer by the name of Christian Longo had been using his name while being a fugitive on the run.
Over the course of this episode Michael takes us through his astonishing career and we discuss how he began his career, his interest in peculiar subjects just outside the mainstream choice and what it is that makes him tick as a writer.
